This form is to be filled in in full, and we shall reply by e-mail or phone within 3 business days, with the instructions for the return.
The Edit must repay the equivalent value of the product(s) within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the returned product(s).
The return of the products or the consumer’s right to unilaterally terminate the Contract is regulated under Government Ordinance no. 34 of 12 June 2014.

CONDITIONS TO COMPLETE A RETURN
You must manage the return before the established deadline:
Online shopping: you have 14 days from the delivery date of your order.
In-store purchase: you have 14 days from the date of purchase.
Items must be in their original condition and include all packaging.
Custom-made or personalized products are not covered by the right of return.
Items must be in their original condition and retain all original packaging, instructions, and other documents (if applicable).
No refund will be made if the product has been used after unsealing, if it is not in the same condition as delivered, or if it is damaged. Therefore, you should take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession.
Before returning products, customers must notify The Edit in advance by email at hello@theedit.ro to receive instructions regarding the return process.
Return in The Edit Store
You can return your items free of charge in-store. The in-store return option is available for both online and in-store purchases. You just need to present the items to be returned along with the purchase receipt.
Home Pickup
A. Standard parcels (weight 0-30 kg and length 0-110 cm) - cost of return is 20 lei VAT included
B. Non-standard parcels (weight 30-99 kg and length 110-199 cm) - cost of return is 49 lei VAT included
We offer the option to return your items via our home pickup service. The cost for each return request will be deducted from the refunded amount.
The return request should be completed here and the courier will pick up the package from the selected address. You do not need to print the return label, as the courier will have it ready. Please note that this option is only available for online purchases.
C. Oversized cargo parcels (weight >100 kg and length >200 cm)
The cost of the return for oversized parcels will be communicated by email and will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Alternatively, you can organise the return by yourself, bearing all costs and responsibility.
Please note: you must send the items you wish to return before the return period expires.
Once we receive the returned product, we will inspect it and inform you of your eligibility for a refund. If the product has been used after unsealing, is not in the same condition as delivered, has been damaged by the customer, or is missing its original packaging and labels, we reserve the right to refuse the return.
If the return is accepted after inspection, we will process the refund using the same payment method used for the purchase, no later than 14 days from the receipt of your cancellation notice.
Returning Defective Products
If the product is non-compliant at the time of delivery, you must contact us immediately via our contact form and provide details about the product and the damage it has, or you can call us at +40731341495, or email hello@theedit.ro, to arrange for the product to be picked up from the indicated address. The complaint must always be accompanied by a photo or video as proof.
Once we receive the returned product, we will fully inspect it and inform you whether you are entitled to a refund or replacement (as applicable) via email within a reasonable period. The refund or replacement will take place as soon as possible, without undue delay, and in any case no later than 14 calendar days from the date we confirmed via email that you are entitled to a refund or replacement for the non-compliant product.
The amounts paid for products returned due to real damage or defects will be fully refunded, as well as any shipping costs you incurred for receiving the products.
We will process the refund using the same payment method used for the purchase, no later than 14 days from the receipt of your cancellation notice.
Returning Custom or Personalized Products
Custom or personalized products are those not in the retailer’s stock at the time of ordering and are ordered from the manufacturer.
Custom or personalized products are not covered by the right of return.
